At *Orange Bags*, our Partial Cash on Delivery (Partial COD) option lets you pay a portion of your order online and the remaining amount when your bag arrives.

By choosing Partial COD at checkout, you agree to the terms below.

*How Does Partial COD Work ?*

It's pretty simple.

*20% upfront:* Pay 20% of your total order value online when placing your order.
*80% on delivery:* Pay the remaining 80% when your order arrives.
*Advance payment:* Your upfront payment is part of your total order value, not an additional fee.

Your order will be processed and dispatched once we've successfully received the required advance payment.

*Changed Your Mind Before Dispatch ?*

Plans change. We get it.

If you'd like to cancel your Partial COD order *before it has been dispatched*, reach out to our customer support team.

If your cancellation is accepted before dispatch, your advance payment will be *refunded to your original payment method*, subject to applicable payment-processing timelines.

*Cancellation or Refusal After Dispatch*

*Once your order is dispatched, it's already on its way to you.*

At this stage, Orange Bags has incurred shipping and logistics costs to get your order moving.

Your *20% advance payment will not be refundable, to the extent permitted under applicable law*, if you:

- Refuse to accept the parcel at delivery.
- Ask the delivery partner to return the parcel without accepting it.
- Cancel your order after dispatch.
- Otherwise cause the dispatched parcel to be returned to us because it wasn't accepted.

*Why is the advance non-refundable in these cases?*

Because dispatching an order involves real costs, including forward shipping, handling, COD processing, and, where applicable, return or reverse logistics.

The advance payment is treated as a contribution towards these incurred logistics and processing costs, *not as a penalty or an additional cancellation charge*.

This condition applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law and does not override your statutory consumer rights.

Your shopping experience matters to us, and genuine product-related issues are treated differently from delivery refusals or cancellations.

Please reach out if your product is:

- *Damaged or defective* when received.
- *Incorrect* or different from what you ordered.
- *Materially different* from the advertised or agreed product specifications.
- Otherwise eligible under our *Return & Refund Policy* or applicable consumer-protection laws.

Eligible issues will be reviewed and resolved in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy and applicable Indian laws.

*Your consumer rights always come first.* Nothing in this Partial COD policy limits the rights or remedies you're legally entitled to.

*What If the Issue Is on Our End ?*

Sometimes things don't go as planned. If the issue is ours, we'll take responsibility.

If your order cannot be fulfilled or delivered due to an issue attributable to *Orange Bags*, you won't be denied a refund simply because you selected Partial COD.

Where applicable, your advance payment will be refunded in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy and applicable law.

We want Partial COD to be a smooth and reliable experience for everyone.

To help prevent misuse, Orange Bags reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to review, cancel, or restrict orders involving suspected:

- Fraudulent activity.
- Repeated, intentional refusal or non-acceptance of parcels.
- Misuse of the Partial COD payment option.
- Other abusive ordering behaviour.

Any such action will be subject to applicable laws.

*Applicable Laws & Your Rights*

This Partial COD Payment Policy is governed by and should be read alongside:

- The *Consumer Protection Act, 2019.*
- The *Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.*
- Applicable amendments and other relevant Indian laws, rules, and regulations in force.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or override any consumer right or legal remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
